Airplane from ‘Furious 6’ Finally Takes Off

In anticipation of their upcoming film, ‘The Fate of the Furious,’ Universal Pictures announced a momentous achievement for one of the earlier Furious movies. The large cargo jet from ‘Fast & Furious 6,’ which was an action scene centerpiece, has finally taken off from the ground.

Universal Pictures released the following statement:

“Our plane from Furious 6 succeeded in taking off from the ground at 10:13 this morning. This journey, which took 5.3 million miles and circumnavigated the world more than 200 times, has officially set the Guinness Record for longest aircraft takeoff.

“Universal Pictures thanks all of its dedicated cast and crew for this remarkable achievement.”
